What people are researching it for
People are researching Relaxation PM for falling asleep more easily, winding down at night, and staying asleep.
Reasons people look into Relaxation PM. An interest is not a promise that it works.
- Sleep
People mostly report falling asleep fast; staying asleep is hit or miss.
Community reports
People mainly report falling asleep faster after a strong rush of warmth or tingling. Reports on staying asleep are mixed.
Community reports
People take this ready-mixed shot at bedtime mostly to fall asleep faster. Forum reports often describe a rush of warmth or tingling within minutes, then strong sleepiness, but staying asleep is less consistent.
Sleep studies in people cover some of its parts, mostly melatonin.
Of its ingredients, melatonin has the most human sleep research. GABA's sleep evidence is very limited.
A ready-mixed of GABA, melatonin, L-arginine and L-glutamine, not a peptide. Of the four, melatonin has been studied the most for sleep.

Safety notes
Tested in people. How many took part, for how long, and who they were still matter.
- You have trouble breathing or wheezing, or your face, lips, tongue or throat swell.
- You get hives away from the injection site, or feel severely dizzy or faint.
For these signs, call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Redness spreads, or heat, swelling or pain keeps growing where you injected.
- A lump keeps growing or does not go away, or you see pus or red streaks.
- You have a fever or chills, or feel sick all over.
- Too much melatonin can leave you with a headache and brain fog the next day. Industry perspective
- Products sold under this name can differ, so check the vial label.
- Any injected product needs to be sterile and free of endotoxin (bacterial residue that can cause fever). The strength on the label does not show that.
- Tingling, flushing, chest feelings and feeling short of breath come up often enough to take seriously.
- An allergic reaction can look like the rush at first. Trouble breathing, swelling, severe chest pain, fainting or symptoms that do not pass need emergency care.
- GABA and melatonin are calming, and their effects can add up with other sedating compounds or sleep medicine. Talk with a doctor before combining them. Taking several at once also makes it hard to tell what caused what.
