What people are researching it for
People are researching SLU-PP-332 for endurance, exercise-like effects, energy use, fat burning, and metabolic rate.
Reasons people look into SLU-PP-332. An interest is not a promise that it works.
- Body composition & performance
- Weight loss & metabolic
Some people say cardio feels easier; many say they feel little or nothing.
Community reports
Positive reports often mention easier cardio, feeling warmer, or sweating more. Many people report little or no effect, and oral use is heavily debated.
Community reports
People mainly take SLU-PP-332 hoping for better endurance and fat loss. Reports split sharply: some describe easier cardio, many notice nothing at all, and a fair number describe tiredness or a crash afterward.
So far, mouse studies found better endurance and more energy burned.
Mouse studies found better endurance and higher energy use after SLU-PP-332.
SLU-PP-332 is a lab-made small molecule (not a peptide) that people look at for endurance and fat loss because it copied part of what aerobic exercise does in mouse studies.
What this is based on
- Animal researchUseful for understanding a research question, but not the same as evidence in people.
- Community reportsWhat people describe noticing. Not proof of cause.
- Learn Peptides explanationOur own plain-English summary of the sources. It is not a source itself.
There are no human benefit studies, and absorption by mouth is still unknown.
There are no human benefit studies. Researchers also do not yet know what amount reaches the body effectively when it is taken by mouth.
Safety notes
It has only been studied in mice. The team that made it says it is not absorbed well when swallowed, and many people report nothing or a tired crash.
- Heart disease or high blood pressure. Some people report a faster resting heart rate and others report trouble raising their heart rate during cardio. Its effects on the human heart have never been studied.
- Cancer, now or in the past. The cell switches it turns on are also linked to how some cancers grow. There is no evidence it causes cancer, and nobody has studied long-term use in people.
- Diabetes, or you take insulin or blood-sugar medicine. Some people describe near-fainting spells they blame on low blood sugar. No study has confirmed this, so check your blood sugar rather than guessing.
- Banned in drug-tested sport: unapproved compounds still in development are prohibited at all times.
- The team that developed it says it is not absorbed well when swallowed, so a swallowed product may not do what people expect.
- What is in the container may not match the label, and strong stimulant-like or heat-producing effects may come from something other than SLU-PP-332.
- Mixing an injectable version at home adds risks of its own, including cloudy solutions, unknown sterility and tissue damage.
- Tiredness, crashes, heart-rate changes, heavy sweating and near-fainting have all been reported by people who tried it, and none of them has been studied by doctors.
- No human study has worked out a dose, tested whether it works, or checked whether it is safe.
- Long-term safety is unknown: our research review lists no long-term human data, no cancer monitoring, no fertility or pregnancy safety work, and no long-term heart safety data.
Questions to bring to your doctor
Only for the conditions this page cautions about. Bring this page with you.
- I have or had cancer. Should I avoid SLU-PP-332, and what would you watch for?
- Would my insulin or blood-sugar medicine need to change if I used SLU-PP-332?
- Should I avoid SLU-PP-332 with my heart or blood pressure history? What would you check before I decide?

A lab-made small molecule, not a peptide, built to copy part of what exercise does.
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule, not a peptide, even though it is often discussed alongside peptides. It was built by a research team to switch on some of the same changes inside muscle that aerobic exercise causes, and it has only been studied in mice. Despite the word "estrogen" in the name of the proteins it acts on, it is not an estrogen product and does not simply raise estrogen. Most people in our research review swallow it as tablets or capsules and a smaller group inject it, but the team that made it says it is not absorbed well when swallowed.
Not the same as
- It is not a peptide. It is a small molecule that happens to be discussed in peptide communities.
- It is not an estrogen product. The proteins it acts on are called "estrogen-related", which our research review calls misleading: they are not the usual estrogen targets and the compound does not simply raise estrogen.
- It is not SLU-PP-915. That is a different, newer compound the same research team built so it would work when swallowed. Findings for SLU-PP-915 do not apply to SLU-PP-332.
- It is not a full stand-in for exercise. Our research review says it copies only part of what aerobic exercise does inside cells, not the effects of training on bones, tendons, the heart or skill.
- What is in the container may not be SLU-PP-332. Our research review warns that strong stimulant-like or heat-producing effects could come from something else entirely.
